Where can I watch the workshop recording?

Who can participate?

Any youth participant who registered for the Periyar 148 Event Registration and selected the AI Theme Song & Video Challenge, and attended the AI workshop on August 30, 2026.

What theme should I choose?

Pick one theme from the event topics: Social Justice, Equality, Scientific Future, Inventions, or Education. Your video should connect to your chosen theme in whatever way feels authentic to you.

What style or AI tools can I use?

Any style, and any AI tool you like — video, voice, animation, or music generators are all fair game. Nothing is off-limits as long as the final result is your own original creative work.

How long should the video be?

Shorter is fine — aim for up to 60 seconds. There’s no minimum; a tight, well-made 20-30 second video is just as welcome as a full-minute one.

What file format should I submit?

MP4 or MOV are preferred. Other common video formats are accepted too.

How do I submit?

Use the AI Project Video Submission form. You’ll need the Registration ID and email address from your original Periyar 148 registration — both are included in the confirmation email you received, and also in the “Submit Your Video” email sent after the workshop.

When is the deadline?

Submissions are due by end of day, September 11, 2026.

How are videos judged, and when are results announced?

After submissions close, all entries are reviewed by our panel of judges. Results and special prizes are announced at the Periyar 148 Birthday Celebration on September 19, 2026. Selected participants will be notified in advance and asked to join a live Zoom session that day, where their video will be played and they’ll get to share their experience with the judges.

Can my video also be shared publicly?

That’s entirely optional. The submission form includes a separate checkbox for permission to publish your video on the Periyar Vision YouTube channel — you can say yes or no, and it won’t affect judging either way.
